Job summary

Center City District (CCD) seeks an entrepreneurial Manager of Venue Rentals to grow CCD’s venue rental program across its park venues in downtown Philadelphia. You will own event sales, contract negotiation, and logistics planning to meet revenue goals and ensure client satisfaction.

Reporting to the VP of Development & Partnerships, you’ll build relationships with event planners, sponsors, and partners; produce sales collateral; and manage invoicing, permits, and data in Salesforce to track

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in sales, client service, marketing or event coordination.
• Experience selling or booking rental or marketing events.
• Experience using a CRM/database to track client data.

Responsibilities

• Determine and execute strategy for venue rentals and meet annual revenue goal.
• Maximize rental opportunities across corporate events, brand activations, weddings and social events.
• Manage full lifecycle of rental clients: prospecting, site visits, proposals, pitches, contracts and fulfillment.
• Coordinate logistics with clients and CCD staff; attend events as needed for success.
• Support other Development & Partnerships events and sponsor activations.
• Develop a network of event planners and booking sources; promote CCD venues.
• Produce and update sales collateral and rental webpage.
• Issue permits for paid and no-fee events and manage invoicing and payments.
• Enter data in Salesforce and report revenue projections.
