Job summary

Emerald is seeking a Venue Procurement Manager to support strategic sourcing, contracting, and administration of hotel and venue agreements across the event portfolio. You will work with venue procurement, operations, Legal, and Finance to manage sourcing through post‑contract administration.

In this role you will review terms, negotiate with hotels and partners, coordinate documents, and maintain contract templates while driving efficiency and risk control for multiple events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in venue sourcing, hotel sales, hospitality operations, meeting planning, or procurement.
• Strong understanding of hotel contracts, room blocks, attrition, cancellation, concession management, and group housing practices.

Responsibilities

• Review hotel, venue, and room-block agreements against approved contracting standards and templates.
• Coordinate revisions, redlines, and clean agreements through final approval.
• Prepare and distribute RFPs and organize proposals and responses for review.
• Develop comparison summaries highlighting rates, concessions, financial terms, and risk.
• Track contract status, approvals, deadlines, and next actions.
