Job summary

Workday Talent Hub is seeking a detail-oriented Vendor Management Specialist to coordinate supplier onboarding and procurement workflows. You will manage onboarding in GEP Quantum, gather essential supplier data, and drive requests to completion while coordinating with Vendor Managers and business stakeholders.

The role involves creating requisitions in Ariba, tracking approvals and PO creation, and maintaining renewal and supplier performance records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent practical experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in vendor management, purchasing, procurement operations, finance operations, contract administration, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple transactions and drive them to completion.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and coordinate supplier onboarding in GEP Quantum as directed by Vendor Managers or stakeholders.
• Gather business/supplier information, monitor actions, and complete onboarding requests.
• Create purchase requisitions in Ariba after sourcing and contracting activities.
• Monitor requisition approvals and PO creation; follow up on stalled or non-standard transactions.
• Maintain trackers for renewals, expirations, and renewal-readiness.
• Prepare performance history, obligations, and documentation for renewal planning.
• Coordinate supplier business reviews and meeting logistics.
• Collect KPI/scorecard inputs and prepare standard performance calculations.
• Document outcomes, actions, owners, and due dates; follow up on commitments.
• Log and investigate vendor issues, credits, queries, and exceptions.
