Red Clay Consulting is seeking a Business Development Executive in the United States to lead growth in the utility sector. You will nurture prospects, craft proposals, and drive deals across CIS, MDM, asset management, and mobile workforce management domains.

The role emphasizes building a strong network within the utility community, leading pursuit teams, and forming strategic alliances to expand Red Clay's market presence nationwide.

Qualifications

• 6-12 years of work experience with minimum five years of professional services consulting experience.
• Deep experience with Customer Information Systems (CIS), Asset Management, Advisory.
• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Business, or other relevant fields.
• Willingness to travel up to 80% Monday-Thursday.

Responsibilities

• Research new prospects, map the marketplace, and grow contacts.
• Contribute to growth across the sales cycle from relationship building to proposal delivery.
• Develop detailed proposals addressing utility customer needs (meter-to-cash, billing, etc.).
• Understand utility asset management and mobile workforce management to inform proposals.
• Identify and pursue new customers in electric, water, and gas utilities.
• Lead sales pursuit processes and coordinate proposal deliveries.
• Develop alliance partners to drive leads to Red Clay.
• Attend national industry conferences to identify trends and opportunities.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in MIS/Business or related field
