Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Distribution Design Specialist to manage customer-driven construction projects, estimate material and labor, and ensure compliance with company standards. The role involves coordinating with customers and contractors, performing field inspections, and preparing contracts and permits as needed.

The position requires a degree and relevant experience, with potential for advancement and participation in company-wide marketing and storm restoration support.

Qualifications

• Good decision-making, communication, and human relations skills.
• Knowledge of electric standards, procedures and distribution systems preferred.
• Basic mechanical skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer-driven work from inception through completion of construction.
• Work independently and on design projects of all complexity.
• Process and monitor customer applications for service and provide information on rates, programs, and service requirements.
