Job summary

Ameren Missouri is seeking a Project Manager to oversee distribution projects from planning through integration into Ameren’s energy delivery systems. The role requires guiding initiation, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and close out with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will manage schedules, budgets and resources, serve as site authority for project staff, and ensure compliance with regulatory and corporate procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; degree in engineering or engineering management preferred.
• PMP certification preferred or actively pursuing upon hire.
• Three years of relevant project management experience required.
• Experience includes project management on large/medium complex projects.
• Experience in project management controls area preferred.
• Project coordination or team leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning process across initiation, design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and close out.
• Manage project schedule, budget and resources including external vendors and contractors.
• Serve as primary site authority for project personnel and operations staff on major issues.
• Direct the project team and lead the project management process.
• Track metrics and report to stakeholders while ensuring regulatory, corporate and function procedures are followed.
• Assist in development or revision of function-specific PM policies and procedures.
