Job summary

Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians is seeking a Housing Executive Director to lead and manage all housing programs in accordance with tribal, federal, and state laws. The role oversees budgeting, planning, and coordination of construction projects, rental housing, and HUD reporting, in collaboration with Tribal leadership.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and at least six years in Indian housing, with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field, plus six years in Indian housing.
• Two years in supervisory or management position required.
• An equivalent amount of education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, development, and administration of housing programs in alignment with tribal, federal, and state policies.
• Prepare and monitor budgets for IHBG and related sub-budgets.
• Coordinate construction projects, contract administration, and compliance with housing regulations.
• Represent the Tribe in housing matters with HUD and other agencies.
• Supervise department staff and oversee performance reporting to Tribal leadership.
