Job summary

Moapa Band of Paiutes is seeking a Director of Housing to serve as the senior executive responsible for the Housing Department’s administration, operation, leadership, and regulatory compliance. The Director will oversee federal housing program compliance, budgeting, personnel supervision, tenant services, procurement, and strategic housing initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience administering federally-funded programs (NAHASDA/IHBG/HUD-ONAP).
• Strong understanding of federal procurement, environmental review, and grant management.
• Ability to lead staff, manage multiple priorities, and ensure audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Housing Department with independent judgment and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with NAHASDA/IHBG/HUD-ONAP and federal requirements.
• Oversee budgeting, procurement, audits, and reporting.
• Supervise staff and manage tenant services, maintenance, and occupancy functions.
• Coordinate with consultants, auditors, and federal agencies.
