Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager – Transportation Systems Management to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of the Transportation Management System (TMS) and to empower internal transportation teams, carriers, and facility users.

You will drive cost optimization, improve delivery experiences, and ensure visibility across Cardinal Health's network through strategic leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred.
• Advanced degree desired.
• 8+ years experience in Transportation, Logistics or Supply Chain roles preferred.
• Project and Product Management experience; and knowledge of Agile practices.
• Technology-grounded experience that includes ERPs, TMS, WMS platforms preferred.
• People leadership experience preferred.
• Travel Expectations: Up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a technology product team overseeing the full lifecycle of our Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Champion the transportation product strategy, defining both short-term tactical plans and long-range strategic roadmaps to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Design, scope, and deploy innovative solutions that strategically enhance and transform global supply chain management and systems, focusing on cost savings, network standardization, and process improvements.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to gather detailed requirements, establish KPIs, and conduct thorough cost-benefit analyses to ensure maximum return on investment.
• Proactively identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues, effectively mitigating risks to ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions.
• Champion the successful adoption of technology solutions ensuring seamless integration and user engagement.
• Collaborate closely with IT teams within an Agile framework, ensuring the timely and effective delivery of initiatives that align with evolving business needs and future strategic capabilities.
