Job summary

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of transportation sourcing experience. You will negotiate commercial agreements, drive cost improvements, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure supply continuity and performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in transportation & logistics sourcing or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated experience leading transportation sourcing activities including strategy development, carrier selection, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience with transportation category sourcing, carrier negotiations, and contract management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to influence decisions using data and sourcing insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies aligned with business and operational objectives.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives including spend analysis, RFx development, supplier evaluation, negotiations, and supplier selection.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers/carriers and conduct business reviews.
• Lead negotiations of commercial agreements, rate and pricing, terms and conditions, and service level expectations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic objectives and act as the primary sourcing contact for assigned categories.
