Majestic Steel USA is seeking a Transportation Scheduling Specialist II to independently coordinate transportation execution, build carrier relationships, and secure rates across multiple freight modes. This role connects our Service Centers, Sales Team, and transportation partners to keep freight moving efficiently and customers satisfied.

You will operate in a hybrid setting, with in-office days on Tue–Thu and optional remote work on Mon and Fri, while maintaining strong vendor partnerships,

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supply chain operations with growth in scope.
• Working knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and load board platforms (DAT, Truckstop.com, or equivalent).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate transportation execution and secure rates and capacity across TL, LTL, flatbed, and specialized lanes.
• Recruit, evaluate, and onboard asset-based carriers to strengthen capacity.
• Manage load entry, status updates, and documentation within TMS and tracking systems; resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate freight, confirming equipment, load securement, and permitting requirements.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements to achieve favorable terms.
• Communicate load status and delivery timelines with Sales and Operations; resolve transportation issues.
• Verify freight invoices, resolve billing discrepancies, and monitor carrier compliance with policies and DOT regulations.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
