Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 6 years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.
• 5-7 years experience in Transportation, Distribution, Materials Management, Purchasing and/or Logistics.
• Knowledge of transportation strategies, regulations and policies.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple functions and coach team members.

Responsibilities

• Execute the transportation plan to ensure optimal utilization and service levels for US and Canada inbound shipments.
• Use system technologies to produce efficient transportation solutions and provide first-line system support.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and lead small projects.
• Produce monthly planning-region reports based on metrics and results.
• Manage inbound planning activities and coordinate cross-functional meetings; mentor team members.
