Job summary

WGI, a leading national consulting firm, seeks a Proposal Manager for Transportation to lead strategy and coordination across pursuit lifecycles in multiple FL offices, including Tampa, Miami, and Orlando. The role collaborates with pursuit managers, coordinators, and technical staff to create compliant, client-centric proposals.

The position emphasizes strategic thinking, time management, and quality control, with a focus on go/no-go decisions, win strategies, and resume/boilerplate updates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferably in English, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the A/E/C industry preparing proposals for federal, state, and municipal clients.
• Ability to work well with others (supervisor, department managers, project managers, proposal coordinators, and others in business development).
• Pre-employment drug screening is a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support Transportation pursuit managers on pre-marketing efforts and participate in go/no go process
• Collaborate with Transportation pursuit managers in strategic planning, identify customer concerns and develop win strategies
• Manage the proposal teams, including coordinators and specialists
• Be versed in Transportation Division strategic and business plans
• Coordinate the production of compliant proposals and follow the proposal management process
• Coordinate with technical staff and subconsultants for proposal content
• Coordinate with graphic designers for proposal graphics
• Analyze debriefs and apply lessons learned to strategy and reviews
• Lead proposal production planning meetings and coordinate presentation production
• Participate in presentation practices and assist during rehearsals
• Ensure quality of all produced material (messages, spelling, grammar)
• Proactively update resumes, project descriptions, and boilerplate material
• Responsible for page-turned quality control
• Assist coaching proposal coordinators in WGI's proposal production process
