Responsibilities

• Negotiate rates with carriers.
• Manage shipments by building loads and establishing a shipping plan to meet customers' needs.
• Coordinate with other departments for timely processing of shipments/receipts.
• Maintain open communication with carriers, customers and suppliers.
• Track shipments from release to delivery.
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Approve freight invoices.
• Meet or exceed department KPIs.
