Southland Transportation Co. is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage shipments, negotiate carriers, and ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery while complying with applicable regulations.

This role requires strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills, with experience in TMS and carrier management. You will collaborate across teams to optimize transport solutions and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CTB certification or similar is a plus.
• Experience coordinating transportation and carrier management is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Cultivate carrier relationships and negotiate favorable rates.
• Coordinate transportation services including scheduling and dispatch.
• Ensure DOT and hazardous materials regulations compliance.
• Maintain records of shipments, rates, and carrier information.
• Monitor shipments and resolve issues to meet deadlines.
• Provide excellent service to clients, carriers, and internal teams.
• Follow operating procedures and contribute to branch goals.
• Support a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
