Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Transportation Logistics Specialist to coordinate day-to-day movements across our transportation network. You will handle scheduling, shipment coordination, carrier communication, and delivery tracking to ensure on-time performance.

This role collaborates with carriers, freight brokers, suppliers, and internal teams to optimize costs, maintain records, and communicate updates or delays.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or related field.
• Experience coordinating domestic transportation (LTL, FTL, parcel).
• Experience with carriers, freight brokers, forwarders, and logistics providers.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, preferably NetSuite, and freight management systems.
• Knowledge of Bills of Lading, freight quotes, documentation, and freight claims.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple shipments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support day-to-day movement of goods across the transportation network.
• Schedule shipments, coordinate with carriers, and track deliveries to ensure on-time performance.
• Communicate with carriers, brokers, forwarders, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and optimize costs.
• Maintain accurate transportation records and provide timely delivery updates, delays, or service issues.
