Job summary

Con Edison Transmission (CET) is seeking a Project Manager of Business Development to evaluate and develop potential Northeast transmission opportunities. This role manages projects from origination through development, creating work plans, financial models, and coordinating experts while navigating regulatory and permitting processes.

The project manager will structure partnerships, negotiate contracts, present opportunities to CET leadership, and mentor analysts to meet CET's strategic growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience in investment opportunities assessment or
• Master's Degree with 6+ years of experience in infrastructure project development
• Analytical skills and commodity/resource or financial modeling are required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and develop potential transmission opportunities in the Northeast (NYISO, PJM)
• Manage project development from origination to initial development phase
• Create work plans and financial models, and coordinate internal/external SMEs
• Negotiate contracts with partners/customers and present opportunities to CET leadership
• Lead and mentor analysts/consultants and oversee project execution during development and construction phases
• Support regulatory position development, advocacy, and enterprise risk management
