Job summary

Con Edison Transmission (CET) is seeking a Project Manager of Business Development to evaluate and develop transmission opportunities in the Northeast. The role involves origination through development, workplan creation, and financial modeling while coordinating internal and external experts.

You will negotiate contracts, present opportunities to CET leadership, and help structure partnerships to meet CET and partner needs. Travel will be frequent to advance projects and meet partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience with the assessment and financial modeling of investment opportunities.
• Master's Degree and a minimum of 6 years relevant work experience with the development of infrastructure projects.
• Analytical skills and commodity/resource and/or financial modeling, required
• Project management of deliverables from multiple types of customers, required
• Have the ability to multi-task, work independently, exercise discretion, and maintain confidentiality, required
• Have excellent communication skills, required

Responsibilities

• Evaluate potential investment opportunities focused on New England, New York, PJM and interregional opportunities in the Northeast.
• Manage project development from origination through development, including work plans and models.
• Negotiate contracts with partners and customers and present opportunities to CET leadership.
• Present analytical results, deal structures and opportunities for improvement to executives.
• Support CET initiatives, regulatory position development, advocacy, marketing and special projects as needed.
• Travel domestically and internationally as part of project development and partner meetings.
