Job summary

The position partners with local governments, planning agencies, and community groups, fostering innovation and staff development while delivering community-focused transit solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Transportation Planning, Engineering, Public Administration, Geography, or a related field.
• Seven (7) years of progressively responsible experience in transit planning, scheduling, transportation planning, or related disciplines.
• Three (3) years of supervisory or management experience.
• Demonstrated experience with transit scheduling systems and planning software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic planning and service development for the region.
• Direct all fixed-route scheduling activities and schedule changes.
• Oversee performance analytics and data-driven decision making.
• Represent GRTC with local governments and regional partners.
• Build and mentor planning and scheduling teams and manage budgets.
