Job summary

NPR is seeking a Project Manager within the Office of Transformation to lead enterprise-wide initiatives, coordinating timelines, deliverables, and milestones across multiple teams and ensure milestones are hit on schedule. You will bridge operations between technical, financial, and station relations functions to drive NPR's Transformation goals.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of project management experience, proven ability to manage cross‑functional teams, and comfort with dashboards and PM

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of dedicated professional project management experience steering enterprise-level transitions or systems implementations.
• Demonstrated experience using advanced project management tracking methodologies, software, and dashboarding tools.
• Proven success directing cross-departmental teams where deliverables depend on multiple matrixed stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Timeline & Milestone Enforcement: Design, monitor, and manage the master project roadmaps for critical Transformation initiatives, driving accountability across cross-functional streams.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as the primary operational connector between the Office of Transformation and other NPR and NPM teams, for operational support on NPR's Transformation effort.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify project dependencies, flag operational bottlenecks, and work with stakeholders to implement solutions to keep projects moving forward on time.
• Status Reporting & Governance: Maintain real-time status dashboards and reports, facilitate meetings, and package project updates for institutional leadership.
• Coordination Support: Assist the SVP of Transformation in coordinating projects and resources across NPR teams to further our Transformation goals.
