Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of related experience; consulting experience preferred.
• Experience leading in Public Sector, Not for Profit, and/or Higher Education.
• Experience managing senior-level client relationships.
• Extensive finance and accounting expertise.
• Ability to lead and supervise others and deliver quality on time.
• Ability to decompose scope into detailed activities and hand off to delivery resources.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and creative thinking.
• MS Office proficiency.
• PM/Agile certification is a plus.
• Willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team through strategy definition, future state visioning, target operating model, roadmap development and delivery of transformation projects.
• Utilize finance, accounting, industry, and operational knowledge to transform client organizations.
• Develop and standardize finance processes, manage contract financial compliance, and document policies and procedures.
• Define roles and responsibilities within the organization, establish reporting structures, and ensure effective governance mechanisms.
• Lead through transformative solution visioning and execution of the vision, including defining the future state organization.
• Evaluate the current state, identify gaps, and provide strategic recommendations to optimize and mature the client’s operating model.
• Develop, manage, and measure effectiveness of project approach and plans aligned to critical phases of implementation and roadmaps.
• Elicit and define requirements using multiple methods such as interviews, document analysis, workshops, surveys, site visits, etc.
• Ensure compliance with federal financial regulations and mitigate financial, operational, and regulatory risks.
• Manage and implement multiple projects through delegation, coordination, communication, and organization.
• Ensure that all projects are properly documented, with business case, requirements, and implementation plan.
• Manage third party vendor relationships to resource specific development needs.
• Liaise among executive committee, stakeholders, and development team including risk mitigation.
• Support development of go-to-market activities and delivery methodology standards.
