Job summary

IBM Corporate Strategy seeks a Corporate Strategy Consultant to drive transformation by applying industry and cross-industry competitive strategies. You will analyze problems, formulate hypotheses, and deliver recommendations to IBM business units, co-creating strategic changes in a digitally-enabled era.

You will work with senior strategy consultants and executives, gaining exposure across IBM’s businesses as it pursues Hybrid Cloud, AI, and Quantum markets.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Business Administration/Management required or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% annually.

Responsibilities

• Shape IBM C-Suite decisions and strategic direction through project engagements.
• Engage with Business Unit leaders to determine root causes, hypotheses, and outcomes.
• Establish trusted relationships with internal client teams and IBM stakeholders.
• Develop fact-based client, market, and competitor insights from research and internal data.
• Produce and leverage insights; apply expertise to identify issues and co-create recommendations.
• Translate ambiguity into structured approaches to solve problems amid market disruptions.
• Synthesize insights into client presentations and facilitate discussions with leadership.
• Collaborate with client teams to implement and, when needed, manage pragmatic solutions.
