Job summary

Central Oregon Community College is seeking a Transcript/Degree Evaluator to oversee transfer credit evaluation, degree audits, and student records. The role involves intake of transfer transcripts, articulation decisions, and maintaining related databases to ensure accurate degree progress.

Responsibilities include advising students and working with Advisors, Financial Aid, and other departments to communicate requirements and procedures.

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience.
• Experience with transcript/credit evaluation processes.
• Knowledge of transfer course articulation and degree requirements.
• Familiarity with COCC policies and degree auditing systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage intake and evaluation of transfer transcripts (approx. 1,700 annually).
• Articulate transfer coursework per COCC equivalencies and degree requirements.
• Review Credit for Prior Learning including AP, CLEP, IB.
• Maintain transfer and course equivalency databases.
• Audit and adjust degree/certificate records in GradTracks to match catalog rules.
• Assist students and advisors with degree policies and planning.
