Exxon Mobil Corporation seeks a transactional attorney for its Houston, Texas team. You will join our Central Organization to support a wide range of commercial matters, including drafting and negotiating acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures, and EPC or services contracts across global business lines.

The role requires a JD from an accredited law school, bar admission (Texas preferred), excellent research and writing skills, strong interpersonal and analytical abilities, and the capacity

• Licensed to practice law in at least one state (Texas bar membership strongly preferred).

Mansioni

• Provide day-to-day legal support for ExxonMobil business units, developing relationships with key business leaders to drive positive business results.
• Support and lead a wide range of commercial transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, divestments, and other strategic transactions.
• Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, including M&A, joint venture and partnership agreements; customer and supplier agreements; EPC, project financing, and other project-related agreements; and goods and services contracts.
• Conduct and coordinate research into a variety of legal issues, providing legal analysis and counsel to business leaders that anticipates and helps mitigate legal risks.
• Work closely with other teams within the ExxonMobil Law Department and other ExxonMobil functional groups (e.g., tax, regulatory, and finance functions).
• Interface with outside counsel where required on significant transactions and disputes.
