Job summary

Exxon Mobil Corporation is seeking an attorney with strong litigation experience to manage a docket primarily of civil matters, including tort, commercial and environmental issues. The attorney will work out of ExxonMobil's Spring Campus and handle a variety of matters with independent work under appropriate supervision.

The role requires J.D. from an accredited law school, bar admission in at least one state (Texas preferred), and demonstrated ability to handle significant litigation matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and bar admission in at least one state (Texas preferred).
• Experience with civil, commercial and environmental litigation.
• Ability to manage a civil docket and work with outside counsel.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal analysis and counsel on current or potential civil litigation matters for Exxon Mobil Corporation and affiliates.
• Manage a docket of civil litigation, including case strategy, witness preparation, depositions, hearings and trials.
• Collaborate with outside counsel and internal teams to align litigation with business objectives.
• Coordinate with business clients and law management on case status and milestones.
