Job summary

Exxon Mobil Corporation (ExxonMobil) seeks a transactional attorney for its legal team in Spring, Texas. The attorney will support ExxonMobil’s Product Solutions businesses on a wide range of transactional, commercial, regulatory and operational matters.

The role requires a J.D., at least 3 years of relevant experience (preferably with a major law firm or corporate legal department), a strong transactional background, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in at least one state.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant legal experience, at least partially with a major law firm, corporate legal department, or government agency.

Responsibilities

• Support ExxonMobil’s Product Solutions businesses on transactional, commercial, regulatory and operational matters.
• Negotiate, draft and implement agreements supporting acquisitions, joint ventures, operating and divestiture transactions, and goods and services contracts (e.g., EPC, drilling, and equipment purchase contracts).
• Work closely with assigned clients on a daily basis with oversight from experienced attorneys.
