Job summary

Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches in Florida seeks a Don Genung Training and Resource Center Manager to oversee the operation of the training center and coordinate with agency staff and community partners.

You will design and deliver training, manage budgets, develop communications, and promote programs to the public. A Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience are required, with instructor certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Training, Marketing, or related field.
• Five years of experience designing and implementing development plans.
• Instructor certifications in Professional Learning and Performance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, implement and evaluate training events responsive to the needs of the Florida Sheriffs Youth Ranches and the community.
• Research, evaluate and/or develop training materials using multiple delivery methods (written, video, media, blended learning, digital).
• Plan, organize, facilitate and order supplies for employee and community development and training events.
• Develop organizational communications such as digital bulletin boards, social media, newsletters, calendars, and other materials.
• Manage budget, expenditures, and revenue for Training and Resource Center; ensure fiscal accountability and asset maintenance.
• Evaluate program effectiveness through surveys, assessments, and reports.
• Collaborate as a team with agency staff and community partners.
• Establish and maintain an annual Master Training Calendar.
• Market the training center and its classes to the public for trainings and events.
• Welcome visitors and present Youth Ranches services through media appearances as required.
