Job summary

Homelessness Prevention in Washington, DC seeks a Training Coordinator to manage the training and technical assistance portfolio. This is a full-time, at-will, non-exempt salaried position reporting to the Chief of Contracting and Procurement.

The role is located at 14 Kennedy Street NW, Washington, DC 20011. The Training Coordinator will schedule sessions, secure locations, prepare materials, generate reports, and support contract negotiations with training vendors.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating trainings and technical assistance programs.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prepare invoices and manage provider contracts and records.

Responsibilities

• Schedule training sessions and update the training calendar for the program portfolio.
• Identify and secure monthly training locations.
• Generate reports and update training presentations; support curriculum improvements.
• Prepare invoices for vendor payment.
• Maintain subcontractor training contact lists and minutes from meetings.
• Create and design training materials for distribution to TCPs portfolio.
• Coordinate material delivery for all training sessions (in person or electronic).
• Participate in contract negotiations with training vendors and onboard contractors.
• Communicate scheduling changes and curriculum updates to providers; gather feedback.
• Facilitate monthly Homeless Services Reform Act and Language Access trainings.
• Research training opportunities and ensure curriculum meets best practices and regulations.
• Oversee development, evaluation, and revision of trainings; update policies and procedures.
• Maintain records of training sign-ins, evaluations, contracts, MOUs, and other docs.
• Handle other special projects and duties as assigned.
