Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking a Training & Development leader to plan, direct, and coordinate training across exempt and non-exempt staff. You will oversee onboarding for a regional branch network and develop materials to improve new-hire acclimation and ongoing development.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with several years of training management experience, plus supervision and presentation skills. Travel up to 20% is expected within and outside the state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience planning, coordinating and/or delivering training programs or activities.
• OR High school diploma and at least 5 years of experience planning, coordinating and/or delivering training programs or activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct and coordinate the training and development activities for exempt and/or non-exempt employees.
• Provide onboarding support to new employees and ongoing, advanced development for existing employees.
• Lead and/or manage training team to ensure consistency in program delivery.
• Oversee onboarding of new hires for a designated region of branches.
• Develop materials and processes to support employee acclimation to Medline.
• Monitor new hire retention and survey results; implement improvements.
• Evaluate training programs and conduct ROI studies.
• Ensure curriculum addresses designated employee populations and aligns with safety initiatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze needs and create new materials.
• Maintain records of training programs and participant involvement.
• Schedule classes, trainers, rooms and other resources.
