Job summary

Medline Industries, LP is seeking an experienced Training & Development professional to plan, direct and coordinate training for both exempt and non-exempt staff across regions. You will lead the training team, develop onboarding processes, and ensure timely delivery of programs aligned with safety and compliance initiatives.

The role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience, proficiency with PowerPoint/Excel/Word, and travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience planning, coordinating and/or delivering training programs or activities. OR High school diploma and at least 5 years of experience planning, coordinating and/or delivering training programs or activities.
At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
Experience presenting to audiences representing varied levels of an organization (small- to mid-size groups).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft PowerPoint (e.g., changing picture styles, custom animation, slide timings).
Intermediate level skill in Microsoft Excel (e.g., SUM, borders, column width, charts, wrap, sort, headers/footers).
Position requires travel up to 20% of the time (within state and out of state).

Responsibilities

Plan, direct and coordinate the training and development activities for exempt and/or non-exempt employees.
Provide onboarding support to new employees and ongoing development for existing staff.
Lead or manage training team to ensure consistency of delivery.
Oversee onboarding of new hires for a designated region of branches.
Develop materials and processes to support employee acclimation to Medline.
Monitor new hire retention and survey results to ensure outcomes.
Provide remedial training or course corrections to underperforming locations.
Evaluate training programs and conduct ROI studies.
Ensure curricula address needs of the designated employee population.
Collaborate with partners and stakeholders to analyze training needs and opportunities.
Create new training materials based on findings.
Maintain records for training programs including evaluations and participation.
Manage scheduling of classes, trainers, rooms and resources.
