Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking an Employee Development Specialist to plan, design, and implement targeted training initiatives for staff through workshops, seminars, and coursework.

The role emphasizes identifying training needs, preparing reports, and scheduling programs across the facility. A BA/BS in Human Services or AA with relevant experience is required, along with background checks and, when applicable, driving credentials.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Human Services or AA and three years’ experience in Human Services or IDD.
• Pre-employment screening includes background checks (OIG, Child Abuse Registry, Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities), drug testing, education verification and references.
• Driving may be required; proof of driver's license, insurance, and vehicle if transportation is needed.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning, designing, and implementing specialized training for workshops, seminars, and coursework.
• Assesses, with staff, training needs of staff at all levels within the facility.
• Prepares written reports and provides testing for employees enrolled in courses.
• Ensures required staff training opportunities are scheduled as needed/required.
• Provides training and coordination of training for all staff.
• Identifies, recommends, and prioritizes training needs for staff in addition to required training.
• All other duties as assigned.
