Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking an Employee Development Specialist to design and coordinate training programs for staff at our facility. You will help upgrade staff skills, ensure compliance with state and federal standards, and contribute to ongoing employee development and testing.

The role requires a BA/BS in Human Services or an AA with 3 years of relevant experience, plus background checks and credentialing processes. A driver’s license may be required for transportation duties.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Human Services or AA with 3 years relevant experience.
  • Pre-employment screening including background checks (OIG, Child Abuse Registry, etc.).
  • Education verification and other credentialing as required.
  • Possible driver’s license/vehicle if position requires transportation.
  • IDD experience preferred or equivalent human services experience.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and implement specialized training for staff.
  • Assess training needs at all levels within the facility.
  • Prepare written reports and conduct testing for employees in courses.
  • Schedule required staff training opportunities and coordinate training.
  • Identify, recommend, and prioritize training needs beyond mandatory training.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.

Provides training and the coordination of training for all staffIdentifies, recommends, and prioritizes training needs for staff in addition to required trainingAll other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:BA/BS degree in Human Services area or an Associate of Arts degree and three years of experience in Human Services or equivalent to three years’ experience working in IDDPre-employment screening:Complete criminal backgroundName checked in the registries.
