Job summary

Harvard University is seeking an HR Partner to deliver comprehensive human resources consulting for a unit or department within the Faculty of Arts and Sciences. You will lead change efforts to foster productivity, engagement, and alignment with institutional priorities, partnering with managers and leaders to drive workforce planning, organizational design, and talent management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 7 years’ relevant HR experience.
• Advanced knowledge of employment law and HR policies and practices.
• Experience advising and coaching managers on performance management and employee relations.
• Experience conducting or supporting workplace investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in change processes to create a culture of productivity and engagement.
• Advise on workforce planning, organizational design, staffing models and role structures.
• Consult on performance management, career progression, and development planning for staff.
• Coordinate with central HR centers of expertise to deliver coordinated HR solutions.
• Use HR data and metrics to inform recommendations and track progress.
