Job summary

Harvard University seeks an experienced HR consultant to partner with Harvard Human Resources and CADM client areas. You will advise on employee relations, recruitment, compensation, learning and development, diversity initiatives, and workplace improvements.

The role requires navigating bargaining unit policies, leading organizational change, and delivering impactful HR programs. A strong business sense and strategic mindset are essential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ relevant HR experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred; strong HR policy knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with clients on employee relations, recruitment, compensation, learning and development strategies, diversity initiatives, and enhancements to the work environment.
  • Provide expert advice and coaching to managers and employees.
  • Collaborate with managers, faculty, staff, and bargaining unit representatives to understand business needs and address workplace issues.
  • Lead organizational transformations and change management initiatives.
  • Develop and deliver HR programs and training for diverse audiences.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations.
