Job summary

Google’s Search Intelligence (SI) team seeks a strategic Technical Program Manager (TPM) Portfolio Lead to advocate trust, safety, and neutrality for core Search and AI experiences. You will partner with a global TPM team and ~150 engineers, guiding four pillars from frontier AI to scalable, neutral feature rollouts.

You will drive ambitious goals, automate processes with AI tools, and enable tenfold velocity while safeguarding billions of user queries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of program management experience.
• Experience managing technical programs in trust, safety, or security domains.
• Experience in horizontal portfolio management, including governing multiple program pillars.

Responsibilities

• Lead trust initiatives with ambitious, measurable goals and navigate ambiguity to deliver secure user experiences.
• Oversee and align the scope of several TPMs driving Trust priorities for cohesive execution.
• Partner with DeepMind, Platforms, and Verticals to scale compliance and Generative AI protections.
• Operationalize critical program execution while adapting priorities for rapid product velocity.
• Manage escalations with long-term preventative systems and workflows.
