Job summary

Google’s Search Access team defines, secures, and modernizes access to Google Search for the global ecosystem. As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will lead high-stakes platform migrations and onboarding of partners to the flagship Web Search Service.

You will align cross-functional teams across engineering, product, and partnerships, enforce strict compliance, and drive the adoption of generative AI and autonomous workflows to boost velocity and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in program management.
• 8 years in technical program management, software engineering, or system architecture, especially migrations, deprecations, or API lifecycles.
• Experience delivering programs with legal, regulatory, or data governance compliance for API platforms.

Responsibilities

• Sunset legacy unmanaged full-web search with zero-downtime migration.
• Govern migrations of enterprise partners onto the Web Search Service and modern frameworks.
• Serve as primary triage authority for high-friction enterprise partners, ensuring compliant guardrails.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, legal, cloud, and ads leadership to align modernization strategy.
• Integrate generative AI and autonomous workflows to automate migration tracking.
