Job summary

Google Research seeks a Senior Technical Program Management Lead for Trust Operations. You will oversee privacy, security, and governance programs across research and labs, driving scalable, automated solutions and cross-functional collaboration.

You will collaborate with central PSS teams, manage governance delivery across diverse teams, and influence executives with clear analyses and roadmaps for risk-aware operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of program management experience.
• Experience with products achieving privacy, security, and data protection compliance.
• Technical experience in AI/ML system lifecycles, automated evaluation pipelines, or tech control verification.
• Experience managing operational teams, vendor operations, or extended workforces (TVC).
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder influence.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for the trust roadmap and collaborate across Alphabet to align long-term strategies with velocity and global impact.
• Oversee Privacy and Security programs within Google Research and Labs product areas.
• Lead governance program scaling using AI technologies, automation, and tooling optimizations.
• Transform manual review gates into automated self-service guardrails.
• Architect risk-tiered governance delivery across FTEs, TVCs, and autonomous AI agents.
