Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC is seeking a Technical Product Manager – FPGA, RF & DSP in Austin, TX to own strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management for RF, DSP, and FPGA-based COTS solutions.

You will translate RF/DSP theory into real-world hardware, define product requirements, evaluate tradeoffs, and guide products from concept through launch while collaborating with engineering, sales, and customers. This role blends hands-on engineering insight with strategic leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or closely related technical discipline; Master's degree preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics, or related defense/embedded technology markets.
• Strong technical understanding of FPGA architectures, RF systems, and Digital Signal Processing.
• Strong understanding of the complete RF-to-digital signal chain, including RF front ends, data converters, FPGA processing, and DSP.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements and business cases.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions within the overall portfolio.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs, technology trends, and business objectives.
• Translate system-level requirements into compelling product strategies and requirements.
• Develop business cases for new products and present to executive leadership.
• Lead concept definition and support the NPI process from requirements through launch.
• Evaluate competitive technologies and form factors; influence prioritization.
• Manage product-line financial performance including revenue and profitability.
• Partner with engineering to define requirements and development priorities.
• Engage with sales, customers, and partners to identify market opportunities.
• Create technical presentations, collateral, and training materials.
