Job summary

Top Echelon Software, LLC in Huntsville, AL, seeks a Technical Product Manager to own RF/DSP/FPGA product strategy and lifecycle. You’ll translate market needs into detailed requirements, drive multi-year roadmaps, and partner with engineering to deliver rugged embedded COTS solutions for defense/aerospace applications.

The role combines hands-on engineering insight with strategic product leadership, influencing NPI and product commercialization across global customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or closely related field; Master’s preferred.
• 7+ years in RF, DSP, FPGA, embedded electronics or defense/embedded tech.
• Strong understanding of FPGA architectures, RF systems and DSP.
• Knowledge of RF front ends, data converters, FPGA processing and DSP.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into product requirements and business cases.
• Strong communication with engineering, sales, customers, suppliers and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the product strategy for RF/DSP and FPGA solutions within the portfolio.
• Develop multi-year roadmaps based on customer needs, tech trends and business objectives.
• Translate complex system-level requirements into compelling product strategies and specs.
• Develop business cases for new products and present recommendations to leadership.
• Lead concept definition and support the NPI process from requirements to launch.
• Evaluate competitive products, architectures, and relevant form factors.
• Collaborate with engineering to define requirements and development priorities.
• Engage with sales, customers, and partners to understand market requirements.
