Qualifications

• Master's degree, juris doctor or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Higher education, regulatory compliance or legal background preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Title IX, VI, VII, VAWA, FEHA, and civil rights compliance/programming.
• Experience implementing compliance requirements with a care-focused approach.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse communities.
• Knowledge of federal/state anti-discrimination laws and related investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide campus oversight and policy guidance for Title IX and DHR personnel.
• Schedule regular check-ins with campuses and conduct campus compliance reviews.
• Assist with responding to complaints and investigations involving senior campus leaders.
• Deliver trainings and resource materials on civil rights topics.
• Maintain timely updates to leadership on significant civil rights matters.
