PURPOSE

Under the general direction of the Associate Vice President of Community and Belonging, the Civil Rights and Title IX Director provides leadership and direction for the CSU Monterey Bay Office of Civil Rights and Title IX. The Director is a hands‑on administrator responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring, and coordinating the campus’ Civil Rights/Title IX program. The University’s Civil Rights and Title IX Director is responsible for university compliance with Title IX of the Education Amendments of the 1972 Civil Rights Act, the Violence Against Women
