Job summary

Draper Labs in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Test and Support Equipment Program Manager for the Navy SSP Trident II program. You will lead the Test and Support Equipment portfolio, sustainment activities, and development of new equipment supporting D5LE2 guidance systems.

You will interface with US Navy and internal stakeholders to align plans and execution. Responsibilities include managing cost, schedule, and technical performance, building program plans, and coordinating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, business, or related technical field.
• 7 years of professional experience in project/program management in commercial or defense industry.
• Experience with government projects/programs and direct customer interfaces.
• Bachelors degree or higher preferred with leadership experience.
• Ability to travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Own overall program execution, meeting cost, schedule, and technical targets for medium to large programs.
• Establish performance baselines and update resource plans with functional teams.
• Manage all phases from inception to completion and coordinate customer interactions.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to manage suppliers and performance.
• Identify risks and opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Develop strong customer partnerships and growth opportunities.
• Provide leadership to maintain morale and sustainment of program teams.
• Support contract negotiations, reporting, and changes.
• Ensure quality processes conform to QMS and customer requirements.
• Coordinate win strategies and compliant proposals for growth.
