Job summary

Tandem Diabetes Care is seeking a Territory Manager for South Alabama & Florida Panhandle to drive growth with clinicians and healthcare providers. The role collaborates with a Clinical Diabetes Sales Specialist to expand access to our insulin pump therapy and to build strategic relationships across hospitals, clinics, and physician practices.

The position requires 3+ years of industry sales experience, a bachelor’s degree, and up to 80% travel within the territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) and 3+ years of industry sales experience.
• Ability to travel up to 80% within your territory; valid driver’s license, insurance, and good driving record required.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market.

Responsibilities

• Drive business growth by creating and executing smart territory plans.
• Spot opportunities, open doors, and build lasting partnerships with healthcare professionals to create value.
• Leverage Challenger Selling Model and Strategic Account Management to demonstrate value and accelerate revenue growth.
• Deliver product education and ongoing support to providers, patients, and clinical educators.
• Represent Tandem at events, conventions, and community outreach.
• Keep territory organized with accurate CRM tracking and timely reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth sales and customer experiences.
• Ensure work is compliant with Privacy/HIPAA and other regulatory requirements.
