Block Communications, Inc. seeks a Provisioning & Asset Management Specialist to provision network and voice equipment (routers, switches, LTE gateways, voice gateways, HPBX endpoints) and manage lifecycle tracking across inventory locations and customer accounts.

Role involves receiving requests via ticketing system and ensuring accurate configurations and ship/ deployment readiness. The position reports to Warehouse Operations Supervisor and is on-site at the company facility in Ohio, with

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in telecom, IT operations, provisioning, logistics, or inventory management.
• Comfort working from a ticketing system and following documented configuration specs.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Forklift certification required; must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
• Working knowledge of routers, switches, LTE gateways, voice/SIP gateway devices, and HPBX endpoints preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provision equipment per specifications from Support, Order Admin, and Service Delivery Network Engineering teams.
• Validate device configurations against ticket requirements prior to deployment or shipment.
• Maintain provisioning documentation and standard configuration templates.
• Escalate incomplete or ambiguous ticket requests for clarification.
• Receive, inspect, and log incoming equipment shipments.
• Assign and track equipment by serial number/asset tag across locations and deployments.
• Maintain real-time inventory records across lifecycle stages.
• Perform periodic inventory audits and reconciliations.
• Prepare, package, and ship equipment to field locations or customers.
• Process returns and RMAs with vendor coordination.
• Maintain organized warehouse and staging areas.
• Track software, maintenance, and subscription renewals; coordinate renewals with vendors.
