Job summary

Sidley Austin LLP is seeking a Technology Project Manager to oversee a portfolio of technology initiatives across Core IT, Finance, Marketing, HR and Security. You will lead cross-functional teams to plan, execute and close projects on time and within budget, while adhering to PMO standards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 4+ years of project management experience, and proficiency with MS Project/Smartsheet/Asana/Planview.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of project management experience.
• Two (2) years managing technology projects preferred.
• Experience with MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana or Planview required.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage technology projects from initiation through closure within scope, schedule, budget, and quality.
• Partner with IT, business stakeholders, vendors and leadership to ensure delivery.
• Develop and maintain project documentation and governance materials.
• Facilitate governance activities and status updates to sponsors.
• Monitor scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and resources; mitigate obstacles.
• Prepare portfolio status reports for leadership.
• Coordinate resources across concurrent initiatives.
