Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking a Sr. Executive Advisor to provide strategic leadership across Freight Technology, Operations, Commercial, and Corporate functions.

This role partners with the SVP and Technology Chief of Staff to align priorities and drive enterprise execution in a fast-paced environment. The position requires guiding executive decision-making, managing cross-functional programs, and delivering strategic recommendations through high-level communication and governance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Seven years of strategic planning and program leadership experience.
• Experience supporting executive leadership and cross-functional initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Strong executive presence with officers, executive leadership and senior stakeholders.
• Advanced project governance, risk, and reporting abilities.
• Ability to translate technology concepts into business outcomes.
• Excellent communication at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic counsel to senior executives on key business, technology, and organizational priorities.
• Partner with the Senior Vice President to establish, communicate, and monitor strategic objectives, transformation initiatives, and outcomes.
• Establish and manage the executive operating cadence, including leadership meetings and business reviews.
• Synthesize information to support executive decision-making and provide recommendations.
• Serve as a central coordination point for strategic escalations and stakeholder alignment.
• Coordinate and drive execution of cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple tech and business functions.
• Develop executive communications, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
• Lead special projects advancing organizational effectiveness and operational excellence.
• Identify risks and interdependencies; drive resolution and escalation as needed.
• Support annual planning, portfolio reviews, and strategic roadmap development.
