Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Technician Development Program Manager to lead strategy, design, governance, and delivery of technician development programs. You will establish skill standards, progression pathways, and validation processes to ensure technicians perform high-quality repairs and service.

You will partner with field leaders, DSMDs, training teams, recruiting partners, and OEMs to build scalable development programs, monitor outcomes, and drive consistent execution across all regions, with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in technical training, workforce development, field service operations, or technician development.
Experience designing and delivering instructor-led training programs.
Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

Lead technician development strategy, governance, and delivery across the organization.
Design scalable development programs, learning pathways, and assessments.
Monitor progression, repair quality metrics, and development trends.
Build partnerships with trade schools, OEMs, and workforce partners.
Provide leadership with insights and recommendations on development outcomes.
