Job summary

Constellation Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to conduct organizational studies, develop procedures, and draft statements of work to help management operate more efficiently. You will elicit client requirements and prepare project plans and statements of needs.

Ideal candidates have a BA/BS and 2+ years in business/technical writing, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with process documentation and SharePoint. This full-time, hybrid role is based in Washington, DC.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen able to pass a background investigation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Policy, Political Science, or related field.
• 2+ years as a Business or Technical Writer, Requirements Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience gathering, documenting, and managing requirements from diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience documenting business processes using process maps, flowcharts, or diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional-level skills in technical writing, research and analysis, policy drafting, SOPs, program guidance documents, and executive correspondence management.
• Assist with developing security program documents requiring research, data, and recommendations.
• Support project meetings, events, manage program taskings, and prepare presentations.
• Assist with designing and developing program/implementation plans, documenting risks, dependencies, constraints, and tracking metrics.
• Create security program content for video, photography, news articles, illustrations, and sound work products for client communications.
• Update security information on organization SharePoint sites and collect data to support program goals.
