Job summary

Cohere is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to join our customer‑facing Engineering Program Management team. You will lead programs for enterprise‑grade AI software, collaborating with Strategic Customers and internal engineering, product, and GTM teams as the technical voice for the customer.

The role requires hands‑on experience with customer‑facing delivery, strong leadership, and a bias for action to ship high‑quality enterprise solutions in a remote‑friendly environment.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years as an Engineering or Technical Program Manager, with 2+ years in customer-facing delivery for enterprise AI software/solutions.
• Knowledge or experience with LLM training or optimization is a differentiator.
• Strong communication and organizational skills; able to capture detailed notes and follow up actions.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly with customers and internal teams across organizational levels.
• Break down complex problems and align engineering with product, business, and marketing goals.
• Plan and manage program schedules, dependencies, risks, and cross‑team alignment.
• Drive on‑time delivery, identify development needs, and set checkpoints for status updates.
• Proactively resolve issues and coordinate cross‑functional dependencies to protect schedule and quality.
