Job summary

Cohere is seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager to join our customer-facing Engineering Program Management team. You’ll work directly with customers and manage enterprise-grade software or ML solutions, shaping Cohere’s operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams across Strategic Customers, AML, FDE, Platform, Product, and Go-to-Market.

This remote-friendly role is open to candidates based in Korea and requires hands-on leadership, curiosity, and independence to drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Engineering or Technical Program Manager with customer-facing delivery experience.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams to ship enterprise AI software/solutions.
• Knowledge or experience with LLM training or optimization is a differentiator.
• Ability to capture detailed notes and track progress in technical meetings.
• Strong execution orientation and accountability across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

• Communicate clearly across Cohere teams, leadership, and strategic customers and external partners.
• Break down complex issues into strategies; align engineering with product, business, and marketing.
• Plan and manage program/project schedules, dependencies, risks, and organizational alignment.
• Ensure on-time delivery; identify development needs and establish status checkpoints.
• Proactively identify and resolve issues; coordinate cross-functional dependencies and protect schedule and quality.
